Japanese to buy US Investment Company for $3.3 Billion

As Reported by the Associated Press, Japanese SoftBank Group Corporation is buying US Fortress Investment Group for $3.3 Billion. SoftBank, which is based in Tokyo, Japan, owns Sprint based in the US and has been active acquiring companies globally. The CEO of SoftBank, Masayoshi Son, was recently praised by US President Donald Trump for promising to invest $50 Billion in US start up companies creating an estimated 50,000 jobs.
