AP Reports Women on Strike

An Associated Press report said today that women across the US are on strike and joined rallies. The report goes on to state that the rallies took place in the east and west coast cites of New York, Baltimore, Washington and Berkeley. There were also rallies in Milwaukee and Philadelphia. There was no information given on actual numbers of those attending the rallies. The AP stated that other areas on the east coast such as Prince George’s County in Maryland, the cities of Alexandria, Virginia and Chapel Hill, North Carolina closed schools. Another east coast city, Providence, Rhode Island, closed their courts. The report did not mention why the rallies were being held or what specific message was being voiced. However, the report did mention the wage gap between men and women in the US but did not provide background information on the well researched topic or attempt to explain why there is a wage gap between the sexes.

    1. Thank you, sbobet, for your kinds words! We started this blog in November 2016 but did not add much content until early 2017. As it is winter, the photo of the bare trees was taken locally. We will take the same picture when leaves start to bud in the spring. We will have the same picture for each season showing the changes. I am glad you like the layout. I hope to hear from you soon!
