Assange to set up Defenses against CIA Hacks

As reported by the Associated Press today, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange will work with tech companies to guard against intrusions by CIA hackers. In what could be the largest distribution of CIA related information, Wikileaks made available to the public 8,761 files that detail the CIA’s hacking tools this week. The information underscores how vulnerable networks and computers are to hacking by the CIA. In response, CIA spokeswoman Heather Fritz Horniak attacked Assange’s truthfulness and integrity and made no indication that they would stop collecting foreign intelligence.
