Spying on Trump? New Surveillance Questions

In a report by Reuters news agency today, new questions are being raised as “incidental information” was picked up involving communications by Donald Trump’s political campaign after the election. The report states that U.S. House of Representatives intelligence committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said the information was collected legally after the election campaign, but the information had been widely disseminated within the spy agencies. President Donald Trump has sent tweets suggesting his Trump Tower building in New York had been wiretapped during the 2016 presidential campaign. On that point, Nunes stated there was no physical evidence of a wiretap on Trump Tower, however, he also said it is possible other surveillance measures were used against President Trump and his associates.
