Reuters news agency reports that 58 have been killed and over 300 wounded in a gas attack in Idlib, Syria. Eleven of those killed were children. The attack was said to have been carried out by Syrian government army jets. A Syrian military source said the army “has not and does not use them, not in the past and not in the future, because it does not have them in the first place.” A request was made by France to the United Nations for an emergency meeting while Turkey said the attack could hinder a planned cease fire.
