As reported by the Associated Press, Saturday’s storms in Texas, Arkansas and Missouri left at least six people dead and dozens injured. The South and Midwest was battered by strong winds, thunderstorms and torrential rain. Storms producing tornadoes moved through several small towns in East Texas killing four. A 65 year old woman was killed in Arkansas when a tree blew into her home and in Missouri a 72 year old woman drowned when her vehicle was swept away in rising waters.
