Safe Zone Deal in Syria

Reuters news agency reports an agreement on Syrian safe zones also known as de-escalation zones will be enforced starting at midnight. Russian Deputy Defence Minister Alexander Fomin said the position of the United States allowed to create conditions for political settlement in Syria. He added, the fact that the de-escalation agreement was supported by the United Nations, the United States and Saudi Arabia guarantees its implementation. According to the report, the first and largest will include Idlib province and the districts of Latakia, Aleppo, and Hama.
